Why Consistency Beats Intensity (Every Time)

Hey Reader,

We’ve all had those moments where we feel like we’re supposed to go all in...

Crush intense workouts, eat perfectly clean, and have a routine so airtight that even the slightest hiccup feels like failure.

But let me share something with you: Consistency beats intensity every time.

Sure, those hardcore, sweat-dripping workouts feel great, but what really moves the needle long-term? It’s the little things you do every day, even when life gets crazy.

Especially when life gets "cray cray!"

I get it though you’re busy (same here)

And the idea of doing some intense, time-consuming program isn’t realistic.

And guess what? It doesn’t have to be.

It’s the daily choices that matter:

  • Going for a 20-minute walk when you don’t have time for the gym.
  • Choosing a healthy snack even when you’re craving something else.
  • Drinking more water even if you missed your morning workout.

These small, consistent actions are what build momentum over time.

It’s not about perfection; it’s about showing up, doing something, and keeping the wheels turning.

Build the Habit, Not the Stress

You don’t have to be a fitness superhero. Just stay in the game. Even on days when life throws you a curveball, doing something is always better than doing nothing.

So, next time you’re tempted to skip because you can’t fit in the perfect workout or meal, remember the key is consistency.

Keep showing up. Those small wins stack up.

Lift Life!

Or maybe you had a weekend that was... Let’s just say, nutritionally adventurous. : )We’ve all been there and it’s tempting to...

Hey Reader, What if the “best” time to work out isn’t as simple as you think? Some people swear by their crack-of-dawn workouts. Others crush it in the evening. I have done both. Morning vs. Evening: What’s the Deal? One study found that evening workouts led to better muscle gains. Sounds great, right? But the catch is, these people were used to training at different times, which might have skewed the results. Another study with basketball players showed afternoon workouts boosted...

Hey Reader, Do you suffer from IDD? No, it’s not a typo. I’m talking about Intention Deficit Disorder. It’s the gap between what you planned to do and what you actually did. And let’s face it, we’ve all been there—when our good intentions go one way, but our actions somehow wander in the opposite direction. Think about it. If you had followed through on every goal and intention you’ve ever set, where would you be right now? That dream career? You’d be crushing it. Your relationships?...
